I'm up for any short cuts I can find when it comes to cooking. So here's a quick version of PIZZA-my hubby's favorite dish. In the good old days when my last son Jeff was still at home and hubby was working, I would make homemade dough for my pizza, but today I don't do that anymore. I discovered Walmart's pre-baked pizza rounds-just put them on a tray, add some bottled spaghetti sauce, some grated mozzarella cheese, pepperoni (they even have turkey ones with less grease and less taste), canned sliced olives, freshly diced green peppers and little pieces of ham lunch meat if available.
Looks delicious, Lin. We like pizza, too, and I seldom make my own pizza crust any more. Do you remember the days of the first pizza, Chef Boy Ardee in a box? I used to make those a lot as a teenager. Maybe they're still available, I don't know.
ReplyDeleteLooks good. I need to look into that. We like pizza. The kind you buy at pizza places are deadly so this might be a good alternative.
ReplyDeleteThis looks delish! I think I'm hungry. I used to make those Chef Boy Ardee pizzas in a box, too, Jean. They are still available, but I haven't made one in years. Lin, yours looks much easier.
ReplyDeletethis beats my homemade pizza...I must check these Walmart pizza rounds out next time I'm in Walmart. Nice pizza and so yummy looking.
ReplyDeleteI've been experimenting with different kinds of pizza crust but haven't tried this kind yet. It looks delish! My children used to love Chef-Boy-Ar-Dee pizzas on Sunday nights and we still make them on occasion.
ReplyDeleteI used to make homemade pizza and pizza dough, but I haven't in many years. When we eat pizza now, we go out to get it, which isn't very often.
ReplyDeleteBring it on, Lin! That sounds good to me.
ReplyDeletewow the pizza looks too good.this will give all the dominos and pizza huts a run for their money.....Lin can i order some from you ????
ReplyDeleteThat looks as good as the take out. I love olives on my pizza....
ReplyDeleteOh wow! This looks wonderful! We haven't made pizza in such a long time. Hmmmm... is it time to do it?
ReplyDeleteHey! It looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteI must learn how to make pizza because I'm planning to live for a while in short term apartments in different cities... I can't buy food everynight.. so I have no option than learning, so thanks for sharing this
wish me good luck>!
