Our WASHINGTON DUP COMPANY had their closing social this week with a tasty BBQ luncheon, beautifully decorated tables and a fun program. It's been a busy year learning more about and honoring our Utah pioneers.

As president of DIXIE POETS, we are very busy this month and next with a poetry reading at our local library with 12 of our local "mature" poets and a group of University Technology University poets from their English Department. We read original poetry we had each created and it was interesting to listen to the differing themes.

Amazing how little time it takes for your children to become middle aged which pushes me out of that realm into the really old...83 this year. Even my younger husband will be 79 in a few days. WOW!
Happy Birthday to JAMES who turns 17 today...a busy teenager attending school, working at fast food after school and wanting to be a cop or chef when he graduates. Here's some early growing up photos.
Now James has grown and is over 6 ft tall, a junior in high school and soon off to face the world.
My son Daniel, his wife Tina and their daughter Heather came to visit conference weekend. They live in Utah Valley so loved our warm weather 72 today. They came for conference.
