It's MARCH and time for POETRY

Each year for the last 14 years except 2021 when COVID closed everything down, I've been involved in POETRY IN THE PARK. To check out past years http://poetry-in-the-park.com/ for photos and descriptions of this fun event that takes place in Zion Park sponsored in the past by Utah State Poetry Society (UTSPS). I was an attendee for 3 years and then asked to be in charge for the  8 years until I retired and Reuben Wadsworth a young English teacher helped me then took over for the past  2 years. This year's teachers were Rachel Robbins and Susan Wiese.

Reuben the tall guy in the back row center by me with the white hair and on my left is Paul Ford-past president of UTSPS. It was a mixed group of high school poets and more seasoned older ones. Our instructors were excellent local high school English teachers.

There's something inspiring about nature and ZION PARK to get you thinking deeper and wanting to somehow capture your feelings while in this area. With a sprinkling of snow on the top of the high plateaus it was breathtaking in early Spring and not crowded at all. Summer is not the time to visit there.

Wow is all I could say as we drove into Zion Park!
