We got SHOT again...

I never got my FLU SHOT before when they were given each year, but this year is different with the CORONA VIRUS VACCINATION. I felt impressed to do my part to help the USA achieve herd immunity. Despite fears of reactions, these are desperate times that call for more effort than just sitting around and being FEARFUL. So we did it and it wasn't easy getting an appointment even if you are ELDERLY-guess 80 counts but hubby is only 76...lol!

55 YEARS AGO, I became a mother...

Happy Birthday to my first of four sons...Frank. I still remember that when I brought you home from the hospital that you wanted to eat every 2 hours day or night. Well, after two weeks of that my baby doctor suggested that I start feeding you cereal. Maybe that's why you grew to be so tall? Love you lots, Mom

PUZZLES and ART GALLERIES

Haven't put together a jigsaw puzzle in some time. Probably years since I've had a grand child visit who wanted to put together one. It was my favorite activity as a child with my Grandma Vernon. Well luckily I had family visit this weekend and interested my son Dan in helping me with the puzzle I had started which gave us lots of time to talk. I love to talk with family, but with the covid virus our visiting has been limited to emails, texts and some zoom interactions. What fun to have time to catch up on some of my family's lives. We also went to the Arrowhead Art Gallery in St. George which was fun and it's free, open Tues to Saturdays.
300 pieces with different shaped pieces was a challenge
Given a couple of hours and the two of us working together!
