Happy QUIET Thanksgiving

This year was a quiet one for the grandparents (us) enjoying a quiet meal at home just the two of us. Will have leftovers for a while.

Just the basics: turkey breast roast so much easier than the
whole turkey, cranberries, stuffing, yams, potatoes and gravy!

And of course Mrs. Rhoades homemade rolls hot from the oven
I used to spend hours making pies and rolls for the day-not now!

Add a helpful husband plus ready made stuffing, gravy mix and Groshaw pumpkin pies, plus a cleanup crew of two makes for a pleasant quiet day at home being thankful for each other and that we aren't traveling today anywhere though we do miss our family.

Thankful for November

Loving the coolness and fall colors that are finally coming to St. George and enjoying Relief Society Activity with tasty luncheon served by our local priesthood leaders all dressed up like waiters.

Our theme was Grateful, Thankful & Blessed

Fun table decor plus yummy chicken casserole & pies

Special servers from Bishopric & Elders Quorum

Great pumpkin pies from Costco
