What's Happening this Summer?

So, what are the FLOYDS up to these days? Allen is enjoying his MANCAVE-one of our casitas where he has all his stuff-well most of it-including his computer, books, etc. He also claims the garage, has made a NEW WORK BENCH to expand the area he can work on other projects like archery and maybe the BOAT?

Happy 30th ANNIVERSARY

Yesterday June 12th was our 30th wedding anniversary. Married in Salt Lake temple after meeting at an LDS singles dance in Provo Utah, we soon started a long distance courtship as Allen lived in Gila NM and was just up visiting his daughter Alicia at BYU. We've traveled lots and visited many beautiful areas in our journey together. We've lived in Roosevelt, Castle Valley near Moab, New Harmony and finally in St. George Utah for the past 16 years.

Enjoying a PICNIC in Pine Valley

Getting ready to CELEBRATE our 30th Anniversary next Monday we have been going out to lunch somewhere different each day. Yesterday we took Subway sandwiches to Pine Valley then a drive past the Gunlock Falls. So much green-ness and spring flowers everywhere as summer is holding off for a while.

It's JUNE!!

As SUMMER begins as it's JUNE, I'm thinking it's time to focus my time on new goals: (1) more exercise, (2) better diet and (3) less worrying. Try to accomplish something on my TO DO list each day but not the whole list...lol!  Just little things unusual things like cleaning out the bathroom cabinets and drawers can lift your spirits.
