It's getting closer to crunch time and list making:
Christmas tree up and decorated, presents bought
and wrapped, cards addressed and sent off-CHECK!
But in all the hustle and bustle, we need to slow down.
Take time to remember why we celebrate this day:
scriptures to read, a nativity scene to reflect upon
prayers to say and many blessings to be thankful for
all because a little babe was once born in Bethlehem.
The Son of God, born of a virgin Mary and raised
by a loving stepfather Joseph, the carpenter. Jesus
Christ is His name-the literal son of Heavenly Father
who came to earth to take upon Himself our sins.
To die, then rise again; so we may be resurrected.
What a glorious blessing and gift that can't be repaid
except by our loving devotions and righteousness.
One glorious day we shall meet Him again in heaven.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, make it a joyous HOLY Day!
