I don't know about you but as for me November was a whirl-
gone but not forgotten. Now Christmas is ahead, but I'm okay-
organized somewhat for that. Just need to print off my cards,
address and mail them, then I'll have time to play with my pal!
My BFF Caryn is back in town, as a snowbird returns and
will be here till May 1st. Every Wednesday is our play day
to talk, shop, drive around or whatever and go to lunch.
What a luxury, a day off from other projects to have FUN!
Of course I'll be reporting here about what we do and see.
As for an update, hubby is progressing on his boat. Time
to start putting on the sides as his hull form is finished.
Lorien has a cast on her leg and will get it off for New Years!
This boat looks like it could be turned over and float,
actually it's ready for the side lap strips to be attached.
Lots of gluing and sanding and measuring, but it will
be glorious and quite an accomplishment when done!
He's doing great on the boat!
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I was thinking of Caryn a day or two ago and wondering if she had arrived yet. Your Wednesday date sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAnd your husband is doing a great job on his boat. I'm sure boatbuilding requires great skill.
Oh my! It's just so amazing that he's building this boat on his own. What fun to have Caryn back! You're going to have so much fun together.
ReplyDeleteAll good news - boat progress, a little girl's leg healing, and Caryn coming back! Have fun!
