As in 100 degrees yesterday and it's still May. That got me interested in finding out all the different meanings of the word HOT! Here's some I found online. See if you can add any:1. Strike while the iron is hot.

Some uses refer to temperature, other don't.
104 on Sunday here...but it has cooled off..today is only going to be in the high 80's. Woot!!

ReplyDeleteWow. It IS hot in your area of the US. It's almost 70 degrees here today, so quite pleasant. Tomorrow is supposed to be much warmer. I'm eager to plant the vegetable garden.
ReplyDeleteWow, while you're dealing with really hot, we're still experiencing snow this week --- what a crazy spring we're having here in Alberta. But at least it's warm enough to melt as it falls.
