Mayday, Mayday!

Time to plant some flowers to brighten our yard

It's an anniversary garden with 15 plants, one for each year of our marriage

Planted so nicely by my husband Allen, I do appreciate his labors of love.

On to summer and our anniversary in June.

  3. WOW! Allen planted your very, very pretty, flower garden?!?! That's fabulous!

I can't guite picture Wayne doing that. I have to plead, shed a tear or two, and promise him a home baked pie to get him to dig a hole for a tree on the property. OKAY...maybe I'm stretching the truth a skoshi bit. But, he really wouldn't plant a whole bed of flowers. He'll help prepare the ground for veggies, and water the tomatoes from time to time, but the daisies, daylillies and delpheniums are my domain.

I find the "anniversary" garden idea especially appealing. 35 new flowers to adorn my perennial beds. I'm liking it!! May have to follow suit! Yep! Think I'm gonna do it. Thanks for sharing the idea and the pics!
