Senior Games Again

My hubby is in charge of recurve archery at the Huntsman Senior Games again this year for the third time. Open to all archers living anywhere in the world that are 50 years old plus, he has doubled his participation this year and has 70 archers. So guess he's doing something right. It's a lot of hard work as he makes his own archery stands and equipment for the meet. As you can see our garage doubles for a workshop.

Our weather should be cooperating as it's cooled down from 90 degrees plus to the low 80s with a possibility of rain showers. We get rain only rarely here in the desert. Oops, we are getting a deluge-severe rainstorms. It's raining "cats and dogs" and many events have had to be cancelled.

Yes siree-that's real rain. Our dry desert landscape doesn't know what to do with all the moisture so we have flash floods-of course! Lol! It certainly cooled our heat right down. No need for air conditoning right now. The meet starts today and NO RAIN is PREDICTED!
