I haven't made cards for years although I do have lots of materials. So when a free class was offered at Sunriver I went. It was so fun to be creative in a new way other than writing.
I remember now why I enjoy scrapbooking and designing my layouts-it's very artsy. So I took some class photos and made three cards for future uses. Will return next week and make more.
Right now my daughter is coloring a birthday card for her friend in school. It's very sad that with ecards and emails , paper /post cards are going out of use.I love the cards i receive by post, they are much more personal.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had loads of fun joining this class. The cards look beautiful.
These are really great. What a wonderful release!
ReplyDeleteI haven't ever made cards like these, with stamps and stencils and paper punches, but I have received some beautiful ones. Glad you had fun.
ReplyDeleteAhh yes, scrapbooking and card making, I remember it well. That's another hobby I passed through. It was fun but I don't have space for everything. Have fun next week.
ReplyDeleteThat's a big crowd of scrappers! Looks like a lot of fun. Good for you for getting involved.
ReplyDeleteoh super...crafting and writing...two hobbies in one! you can't beat that!
ReplyDeleteI love your cards. We have a friend who actually went into business with her cards after she retired as a teacher....
ReplyDeleteI've done this! It was fun and I loved that I left with cards that I had made. From that point on, I truly appreciated hand crafted cards in a whole new light!!
