I can only remember one April fool joke I played as a child-switching the sugar bowl and salt shaker's contents. I never enjoyed practical jokes though I do appreciate a sense of humor that isn't at my expense or causes other's discomfort. There's a fine line there. When does a practical joke become unfunny?
How come we can't remember the punch lines of so many jokes. What is dry humor? My husband is very funny but it's very subtle. Laughing is beneficial to our health and important in our lives to release stress. Events that at the time seem catastrophic can be very funny years later after time has passed.
