Time for Family

BALANCE so important in our lives,
making time for priorities.
Visiting FAMILY members separated
by distance-miles and other reasons.

Waiting for snow storms to be over,
clearer roads and safer driving
takes time but with phones and email
it's possible to still stay in touch.

But without hugs and face to face
interaction, connections are not made.
Visiting and conversing are so necessary
and difficult in our busy society.

  1. You are sooo right. Staying as close as possible may not be easy, but it is vitally important.

  2. And you're right again... e-mails and phone conversations will never be enough. Face to face meetings are the only way to get a chubby hands toddler hug, one of the three best things on the planet.

Lorien is definitely a cutie... looking out at her new world with those big, bright eyes. I wish we had a picture of how proud her daddy is of his baby girl That's a fun thing to see isn't it?

    Life is sweet, eh?

p.s. thanks for the kind words in your last post. I appreciate you.

  3. What a sweet slide show Lin! Lorien is a doll. I agree, face to face meetings are so important. One must certainly make the time to do so with their family.

  4. Is it just me, or do you also see Jeff as a baby every time you look at Lorien? Her big pretty eyes look so much like his. You really have such a darling collection of grandkids. You have been blessed with little ones to love.

  5. Lorien is getting so big so fast. What a beautiful little girl... I did enjoy the slide show Lin.... Michelle

  6. Lorien is growing like a weed. What a sweet little face!

  7. Your family is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing these gems.

  8. I am needing face to face time with my grandchildren, but I'll have to wait a few more weeks to fly away to Colorado. In the meantime technology will have to do.

  9. Gorgeous slide show of photos, Lin. You've got such lovely grandchildren.

  10. Your family is beautiful. You are truly blessed!
