There's no place better than your own bed
after a long absence and a long road trip.
I slept like a baby last night, all night long
woke up feeling refreshed and happy to be home.
Cleaned out the frig and now it time to shop for
groceries and get organized with meal preparation.
Hubby's been on his own for several days and
quite enjoyed being a hermit without responsibilities.
Now it's time to take out the garbage,
wash dishes and converse with the wife-ME!
I'm back to chief chef and homemaker
even though we are retired, you have to eat!
