It's only in the early morning hours in the desert
that one finds coolness and relief from the heat.
These birds are enjoying an early breakfast of seeds
from last year's blooms to feast on as they greet the day.
Morning is a perfect time to consider the day's challenges,
asking in prayer for strength and insight to do better today.
It's important to feed body and soul or you will lack energy
to meet the trials that come to us all in our daily walk.
Don't forget to look around for the beauty that surrounds you
wherever you live in this wondrous world provided by God.
i continue to be amazed at the vast collection of unusual things in our world, some shared with other areas,some just kept for your own. It's almost incomprehensible to take in. we have a bird who lives in a huge gourd and skaaawwwks at us if we get near to the gourd. Funniest but most enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteMy husband maintains a bird feeder (the neighbors call it the bird lot) that draws all sorts of lovely birds and pesky ones as well, but all are God's creatures. Fun to watch with the morning coffee.
ReplyDeleteI have been getting up every morning at 5am and I have been walking from 6am to 7am. The beautiful time I've spent with nature has allowed me to appreciate the birds along the way. God is amazing and He is perfect. He created a beautiful earth full of music for us to enjoy if we only turn off the rest of the world around us.
