A weekend away

We spent a fun few days in Salt Lake City then drove up to Park City, a nearby ski resort, then over to Heber Valley to a small resort called Daniel's Summit near Strawberry Reservoir. It was fun to get away except there was snow up in the mountains but it was peaceful and quiet.

View from inside the lodge, that is snow piled up and trying to melt.

Soon it was time to drive down Provo Canyon into Utah Valley.

Love the mountains and trees everywhere.

Ah, Mt. Timpanogos, my favorite mountain.

Heber Valley-peaceful and rural!

  2. Gorgeous, Lin. I do love mountains, too. That's one thing the Midwest lacks.

  4. A gorgeous place, but the snow has me wondering about the exact nature of spring!

  5. Good for you for taking a bit of a holiday, and still fitting your family into your Mother's Day.
