After a high of 84 degrees two days ago, we are thrilled to have rain to cool us down. I took a photo of this strange plant we were given 15 years ago when we livedd in Castle Valley, Utah near Moab. We've nursed it through several moves and different climates as it grew and grew. Now about 4 feet high, we've never know its name until my hubby found it online. It's a
Magdascar Jewel or euphorbia-leuconeura. Who knew? I've tried to throw it out several times but hubby wanted to keep it in our office which is where this strangely ugly plant conitnues to grow-only about 2 more feet till it meets the ceiling.

As you can see it loves the sunlight from the office windows. |

With a unique spine and new leaves growing all the time. |
|
Over the years, it has sprouted arms. |
