Flower Power

Our Artist's Way taught by Mary (photo below) had an Artist's date
after class with a tasty lunch & a lesson by Caryn on making corsages.

We each brought some materials and centers for our flowers.

A creative art experience to be sure. Materials needed scarf fabric, glue gun, scissors, jewels for center, and a fire lighter to curl the edges of fabric to make it look like petals, time and effort.

What do I do next?

Caryn demonstrates curling the petals.

Getting started, turn on those glue guns.

Lots of colors of fabric to choose from.

Any color combination works, add a scarf and you are so fashionable.

Note how the flower pedals curl up from being slightly melted.

Centers can be jewelry or fancy buttons, clips or pin go on the back
to attach to scarves, jewelry, hair or hats.

They can be used with scarves or necklaces or both.

No two flowers are alike just as no two individuals are the same.
Each is unique.
