Kolob Terrace

Time for a late winter/early spring drive in Zion Park

Kolob Terrace is located on the NW area of Zion.

Looking east outside the borders of Zion Park

High enough for snow on the north slopes.

I love the red-pink colors of these cliffs.

Ah Utah-land of awesome beauty!

Fabulous vistas in every direction

Emptiness yet stark beauty and shadows

  1. That's beautiful, Lin. We are planning a trip to see Zion one of these days along with Bryce, Antelope, etc.

  2. That is truly amazing country! That's quite the "back yard" that you have for going for a drive.

  4. do you know, I hated the mountains in Provo but that one family reunion when we went south, and thru this area, I admit I was impressed. Pink for me too! Who do you think named Kolob Terrace? Have you ever climbed it? can you see Kolob? is the view the same as from Kolob do you think?
