Think of something

to make you laugh...everyday we need a little lightness or humor in our lives. Many times I find this in reading the comics or in an article in the newspaper or in something my husband who has a dry sense of humor will say unexpectantly.

We can be too SERIOUS and miss out on laughing and enjoying events in our daily lives. Rather than get angry how about laughing it off? Look for and create some humor in your life today. Any other suggestions?

  1. I LOVE to watch my little black lab puppy! She is nearly 1 year old now, but she's still very "puppish". One morning I looked out my back window and she was on her back with her feet in the air, squiggling all over! She has a love of life that I admire! This morning, she was standing alone in her wading pool! She is the happiest little dog I've ever had and she brings a smile to my face!

  2. I agree with Cheryl-my dog is very funny! America's Funniest Pets is good- it doesn't have the painful people falling or getting hurt. Just animals being funny!
Other than that, I occasionally am a bit of a practical joker: harmless, light spirited, and fun.
I love to see the laughter that follows.

  3. I went to see Mamma Mia with my daughter and we laughed ourselves silly. We were dancing and singing in the aisles. (The people behind us moved. But, they were also laughing... at the movie, and at us) There was also a song about watching your daughter growing and "slipping through your fingers" that made both of us sob... We just held hands and cried through the whole number.
The movie was loud and raucus, and a little naughty in spots. And we lauged at all of it. The whole night was a good time and a great tension release.

So that's my guilty little secret.

Wayne and I also find ourselves laughing at our dog, Pogo often. He's such an innocent. Wayne makes me laugh every day. He's goofy and clever and always fun. There's a lot of teasing and laughter when my children are together. They're a very witty group. It's kind of like watching an episode of Frasier. We're just a giggly family.
