Just got asked by our RS president to take the part of Eliza R. Snow in a commemorative program about Relief Society. Eliza R Snow is one of important figures in early LDS history. I pictured her as a short pioneer woman but then found this about her on-line:
BIOGRAPHY: Eliza was slightly above medium height, of slender build, her bearing graceful and refined. She had a noble countenance, the forehead unusually high and the features exquisitely cut. The most striking feature of all were her wonderful eyes, deep, penetrating, full of meaning and often illuminated with poetic fire. In speech and action she was thoughtful and deliberate.
