Finding Inner Peace

during times of turmoil outside or inside. The one source to be trusted is not the news reports or your neighbor's opinion but listening to God's word in the scriptures or at Church. PEACE He promises even in our greatest times of need.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth,
give I unto you. Let not your heart betroubled, neither let it be afraid.

HAPPY PRESIDENT'S DAY

Love living in America where we are free to worship as we please. Love having our Church only a block away and for all the opportunities to learn, grown and serve that offers to me. Right now I'm taking an excellent self-improvement course entitled Self Reliance-Emotional Resilience. Seems that's something we all need to work on even in our latter years as STRESS is still a part of our lives...even in our eighties. Although it's mostly physical health challenges there's an emotional aspect to that. Seems our mind is always busy with worry or what ifs.  Guess that's a given until our day of graduation which is unknown to any of us.

Had family visiting this weekend...lots of my husband's family including 3 great grand babies for a total of  9 now and 3 more coming. I have 2 great grands so far; so together we now have 11-amazing how old we got so young. Hubby is four years younger than me.

It was a full house and an exciting time as another dog incident happened on Sunday morning as a neighbor's dog got loose and came into our house like he owned it only to be shooed out. As we tried to see if it had a collar or leash on the dog managed to jump on several adults and knock down a little two year old. Finally the owner was found across the street and apologized because his large dog who they keep inside got out. I'm beginning to think I don't like dogs...lol!

Missed Gabriella's birthday

My first great grand child turned one on Jan 11, 2022. I haven't seen her since last March when she was just a little baby. Now she's growing fast and is becoming a beautiful little girl...

She was born with lots of hair and now its just growing longer and longer. I was bald at her age. Can't wait to get reacquainted with her when we make our next trip up north to Utah Valley.

Her parents recently returned from a  trip to Peru where her daddy is from. So, she got to meet all her family down there...especially her grand parents.

And now I have two great grand daughters. Meet Gabby's cousin Lilith. I haven't met her in person yet but love all the photos the new grandparents: my son Daniel and his wife Tina share on Facebook. Planning on getting together with family next Mother's Day.
