It's AUGUST already

So happy to have JULY with its 111 degree temps over and now it's time for MONSOONS those sudden rainstorms that bring cooler air and temperatures. Amazing the change in the mornings when the sun doesn't shine. Winds come with dark clouds then dump buckets of rain suddenly to the ground and bounces off the streets and driveway. Can FALL and cooler temps we far away?

So what am I doing each day:

1. BIG PROJECT-St. George Literary Arts Festival coming up on Th, Sep 7th. See details and preregister stgeorgelitartsfest.org It's amazing how fast you can spend 100 of hours on publicity, etc. Will be my last big HURRAH with major productions. Time to retire!

2. ENJOYING-watching Anne of Green Gables videos. Didn't realize I'd never watched them before and it's a great activity to enjoy in my great recliner with AC keeping me COOL.

3. MORNING PROJECT-up at 6 am for prayer, journaling and scripture study. Also keeping up with our Sunriver Relief Society 1st Ward FACEBOOK GROUP with new links to Church talks daily.

4. KEEPING UP with new RS members moving in with a spotlight bulletin board. Monthly I interview 4 new sisters and write a short bio and photo of them to get better acquainted.

5. FAMILY-mostly just me and hubby Allen, cleaning, meals, grocery shopping, occasional meal out on the town-hibernating for the summer. Trying to keep in touch with friends, family and the world through the INTERNET. What are you  UP TO?
