We are definitely over WINTER as our temps are in the 80s. Is SUMMER far away? It's coming soon.

Time to thin and replant our strawberries

 My grand finale POETRY TO ART Competition was exhausting. but I finally got to put on a competition where both artists and poets were judged and won cash prizes-each of them. We had 7 local artists compete and 13 poets from Dixie Poets and Redrock Writers. Here's the winners that were judged 1st, 2nd & 3rd places by Jeanine Buckley. Congrats to all who participated. Artist-Nancy Brook + Poet-Bonnie Anderson 1st PLACE certificates and $50 cash each! Ward BBQ in Enterprise, Utah

 Our annual Ward BBQ in Enterprise-an hour's drive from St. George gave us the opportunity to get out of town early and visit the nearby Enterprise reservoir built by hardy pioneers in the early 1900s. There's two reservoirs to save water in the mountains which is piped down to the nearby valley for irrigation use

 How quickly our little ones: sons and grandchildren grow up. Hakan is now 20 and going into his second year in college. This year closer to home in Albuquerque NM at UNM. Congrats on your many accomplishments an to his proud parents-mom Nedret and my son Frank-they live in Santa Fe, NM.
