KEEPING BUSY

It's almost like pre-covid days as many activities are beginning. We had a DUP luncheon outside at our community center pool with face to face visiting. Then I met for the second time with my Dixie Poets group and we had 10 poets attend. We stopped meeting last Nov so it's been a while and was so good to have a lesson and do some writing. Attended a statewide poetry conference on Zoom. Did some replanting of some shrubs that didn't make it through the winter. An annual event-today hubby's sore.

Wheeling out our juniper plants

Dead plants on right

Two new juniper plants on either side of our dry stream bed

Half dead, half alive after a brutal year

Our church precautions are loosening up and in May we will be having our second hour of meeting for Relief Society/Priesthood and Sunday School with less social distancing but still masks. Zoom has been helpful but it's not the same as face to face meetings.

And the greatest JOY is HUGGING family members we haven't seen in awhile and meeting my new 3 month old GREAT GRAND DAUGHTER Gabby for the first time.

Hubby's BIRTHDAY is HERE! # 77

So how did we get to be ELDERLY so soon. Just living one day after another. This also is the 14th ANNIVERSARY of our move to ST. GEORGE and soon our ANNIVERSARY of our WEDDING 28 years ago. My how time travels!

APRIL is here and SPRING has sprung!

We are definitely over WINTER as our temps are in the 80s. Is SUMMER far away? It's coming soon.

Time to thin and replant our strawberries

Our most successful gardening project-growing strawberries!

Not much to eat in the rocks but our grass looks inviting

A jack rabbit visitor in our back yard

How fun to see blooms and leaves again

Love Caryn's Spring decorations and newly stained tabletop

On the wall upper left are old recipe cards

Bunnies, birds and Easter eggs are in her decor

Guess what that is in upper mid part of tree-an OWL!
