Worth a READ

I haven't been able to blog here for weeks as our society has dissolved into riots and chaos. Then today I found an article that clarified my feelings about what is happening in our world.

Even if you don't know what the Book of Mormon according to wikipedia-read this, it's amazing the parallels between their society and now. https://latterdaysaintmag.com/the-riots-and-the-danger-of-false-narratives/  Love to have your comments and observations.

  1. Thanks, Lin, for being in touch earlier today. Glad you are keeping okay in all this madness. Will take a peek at the article you shared.

    Wishing you a great weekend.

  2. Be careful what you accept as truth. I live in a city that is being grossly misrepresent in some media, and certainly by the president. Protesters are not the looters. They have a just cause. While there were fires early on, a single
white woman was arrested yesterday for setting the four police cars on fire in Seattle, scenes that made the national news. She had nothing to do with the protesters. That's just one example. Cities are not being burned down.

  3. I wish there weren’t the looting or the violence, but what have African Americans lived with all this time? I have friends who have told me awful stories of what they’ve had to endure. I have in much smaller measure felt the sting of racism. Therefore, the anger is understandable. I truly wish we didn’t have to have violence but when Colin Kaepernick tried to protest peacefully, what happened? It seems nothing happens unless there is a LOT of unrest to make people stand up and take notice. It took a horrible civil war to end slavery. Sigh... I don’t know what the answer is.
