Surviving the SUMMER

It's been 100+ degrees for two long so it's great when the cooling monsoon clouds come to signal fall is ahead.

Time for the Saturday Farmers Market with fresh peaches and sweet tomatoes...
Off for a cool AC drive in our redrock hills just to get out of the AC house.
Pine Valley mountains draw the first monsoon clouds then cooling rain.

  1. The photos are beautiful, Lin. Makes me want to curl up in your back seat and ride along with you.

  2. Can you imagine what it was like to live there before AC!?

  3. I felt a shift in the season as I walked Sage early this morning. The air has a crispness, much welcomed after the earlier intense heat and humidity. Soon we'll start hearing crickets in the grass, and that will mean fall is all but here.
