Time to PLAY again

Caryn and I invited a couple of friends to celebrate Mary's birthday!
l-r Bonnie, Lin, Mary and Caryn-dear artsy friends

A beautiful peaceful setting for walking and meditating

We visted Kayenta, a nearby Art colony, exploring the labyrinth,
art studios and having lunch outdoors in a patio area.
So fun, love the red rocks of Southern Utah!

Exploring the Blue Raven Art Gallery and studio

Classroom where they teach art for youth and adults. Looks inviting.

Welcome to the pottery studio and store

The potter, she makes it look easy. I've tried it and it's challenging.

Beautiful raku horsehair pottery. Click to enlarge.

Black designs are horse hairs added in the firing process.

So true.

I think it is so nice that you and your friends take time to get away this way to such cool places. I really love that pottery.
