Last day of August

Feels like summer is almost over...we are heading home. Will have lots of photos to post. Here's a few from the Oregon coast taken at Cape Perpetua.

  1. Those photos (though very beautiful!!!) look like the end of summer, they're almost natural b/w shots!

  3. The fog rolled into Puget Sound last night, too. It hasn't burned off yet. It feels like the last day of August.
Glad you had a good trip. I look forward to more of your beautiful photos.

  4. Beautiful pics! It's warm here today, so it doesn't 'feel' like the last day, but the evenings get dark so quickly now, that's what makes it feel autumny.

  5. Enjoyed the photos, such pretty scenery. Its getting to be the "end of summer" here fast, low temps in the 40s predicted in the mountains here in Maine toonight. Looking forward to seeing more trip photos.

  7. Fall is my favorite time of year. It's always a little sad to see summer slipping away... but, fall is such a wonderful time of the year. Calmer than summer...yet so vibrant. Quieter somehow, but with such a riot of color. It's more enjoyable when the temperatures cool a bit, to work in the yard, hike, explore the woods on a fourwheeler, and barbecue outside.

Your photos take me right back to the middle of last week. sigh... I loved every minute!
