Man has made many machines, complex and cunning, but which of them indeed rivals the workings of his heart? (Pable Casals, Joys and Sorrows)

Computers can figure out all kinds of problems, except the things in the world that just don't add up. (James Magary)

  2. Computers are only as good as what's put in them and only useful if they save us time, offer convenience and make work lighter. Computers are tools. They cannot replace the human brain.

  4. giggle, tee hee... I love it! "atrophy all his limbs excet his push button finger" ... It could happen to way to many of our youth if their parents don't stuff their gameboys in a closet and take the kids outside to ride a bike, climb a tree, or kick around a soccer ball.

  5. I think Wright is right. I heard a teacher once say, "We don't really have to memorize anything; we can google it." Sweet heaven.

  6. Lin, I've been stopping by every day, but haven't left comments as I wanted to take some time to think about a reply to your thoughtful postings.

Now I've been busy with gardening I still haven't had a chance to ponder a response, so let me just say I'm enjoying learning more about who you are through your postings!
