Another PARTY

Time for Heritage Writers Guild's Christmas party

at the same location as the poetry party, but the following day.

 We have writers in all genres-Children's books,

Young Adult, Fantasy, Non-Fiction, Mysteries,

Poetry, Romances, History, etc.

Our president (left) Virginia Grenier is a children's author 

while Tom Garrison (r), with his wife in center,

writes for the local paper and on political topics.

 Quite a diverse group of many ages and interests: Amanda (center)

 I was lucky enough to win 3rd place in our Jack Frost Holiday 

Writing Contest for a story about my Icelandic ancestors.

2nd place was Marie Tollstrup (l) and 1st place-Russ Estlack.

Partytime

One thing I enjoy about the holidays are all the parties, 

potluck and other gatherings that start early in the month

  and seem to continue till the end of this year. 

Yesterday was the Poetry group's party followed 

 by the Heritage Writer's gathering, our church dinner 

and then the Daughters of Utah Pioneers luncheon. 

What I most enjoy is not having to cook 

several meals and the variety of new foods to try.
