It's my BIRTHDAY again!

Can't believe I'm 70 already
I don't feel that old inside
but my outsides are showing
some wear and tear or wrinkles.

I'm thankful for good health,
family and friends to love.
I couldn't have survived all
I've been through without God.

It has been a great learning
experience, guided by gospel
principles that have helped me in
this journey called "LIFE."

Family Reunions Galore

It's time again for family to collect
this year will see a blending of two
different groups-mine and his as
my husband's kinfolk collect from
Texas in Utah to celebrate-a wedding.

A special time of coming together
to honor and wish the newlyweds
success and much happiness in their
new journey ahead forming a family
of their own is a momentous occasion.

The Alda Johnson Reunion celebrates
descendants of my grandmother's
five children, only one remains-an
aunt now 90. The grandchildren who
are cousins range in age from 65 to 89.

Purpose of Temples

Seek not for riches but for wisdom, and behold,
the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you,
and then shall you be made rich” (D&C 6:7).
There is more to seek in this life than riches.

Knowledge of the eternities and why we are here.
Forging family bonds that will last forever
happens within sacred temple walls each day
for those committed to higher principles.

Beginning a new eternal family unit
is a glorious thing. More important
decisions lay ahead as children come
and life continues with its challenges.
