A weekend away

We spent a fun few days in Salt Lake City then drove up to Park City, a nearby ski resort, then over to Heber Valley to a small resort called Daniel's Summit near Strawberry Reservoir. It was fun to get away except there was snow up in the mountains but it was peaceful and quiet.

Soon it was time to drive down Provo Canyon into Utah Valley.

Contacted or visited with all my sons this past Sunday either in person, by skype for my oldest son in Santa Fe or email for my Seattle son Brook. Received this tribute from my youngest son Jeff... We are all very grateful for all you do as our grandma (mother). You are always a great example of righteous living we try to follow and all the generations that follow you will look to your example and the precious records you are preserving for them.

from many years past. They are gone

but because of their sacrifice and labors
