Another WEDNESDAY in the garden

The days come and go so fast and soon it's a new week and a new month. AMAZING! Been enjoying watching hubby work in the garden and planting some flowers and a lone cherry tomato plant-hope it grows have not had success with tomatoes since we moved here 13 years ago and we've tried...

Not easy on the knees but hubby is determined to do it himself
Replacing a dead plant seems to be a yearly spring routine

Social distancing at Star Nursery

At the nursery again, looking for some flowering plants

I chose three different colored daisies

On the upper left is our token cherry tomato plant

Hubby built a shelter as the temperatures are in the 90s today

Roses in our anniversary garden in full bloom
Yellow roses doing well this year

Best bloomers in the garden

Even found two ripe strawberries in this bed

HAPPY EARTH DAY

Something special about getting out of the house to visit our local nursery. To see all the beautiful growing things and buy some plants for fixing up our yard was fun and refreshing. Life continues!

Our strawberries are in full bloom, can't wait for freshly picked ones!

Off to our local nursery to pickup some plants for our yard
Love all these different colors of daisies-my favorite flower

Blooms everyone promise renewal and new growth then blooming

Flowers and more flowers everywhere

Amazing the variety

Shrubs are flowering too

Love walking through here in the cool morning, will be 80 degrees later

We bought  a shrub, some flowers and a new house plant

Mid APRIL and few showers

Only Corona Virus news dominates, but it seems to be working its way hopefully to a conclusion at least for this year.  Although our schools in Utah are closed till the end of May, our churches and temples are still closed, but nature is treating us to warmer weather and blooms are everywhere. We are blessed to have grocery stores full of food we can buy. SPRING is here. My strawberry plants and rose bushes are starting to bloom.

This too shall pass and we will all be different because of what we have experienced.

Hopefully:

l. We'll reach out more to friends and family after the SOCIAL DISTANCING we've all experienced.

2. The slowdown will have given us time to think how we want to CHANGE OUR LIVES and live more productively and happily with gratitude.

3. Had time to examine our FAITH or lack of it. PRAY with more intent and ask for guidance to live a better life.

What are some of your hopes or experiences?

What's up now that's it APRIL?

Just social distancing at home. Do get out weekly to grocery shop, our redbud tree is blooming and I made an upside down pineapple cake that was yummy...

That's me, hiding from the virus...

Redbud tree in bloom!

Upside down cake a success!

HAPPY NEWS-A Wedding of my Granddaughter

Emilee and Daniel were married today in a private ceremony at her home that was broadcast by her father/my son Dan to family and friends on many continents-USA, Peru, France and England. Amazing technology in these scary days of Coronavirus that demands social distancing. They were originally scheduled to be married in the Mount Timpanogos temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but then temples all over the world were closed. So, they were married for time only at her home by her bishop, and will later attend the temple when it opens to be sealed together forever. Happiness and love triumphs!

Mr and Mrs...they were married, despite all obstacles!
