SIMPLIFY

Sometimes you can surround yourself with too many things
It gets so you don't know where anything is or if you have it
Messes accumulated as papers get stacked then put away
Practicality says it's time to weed the garden or the desk
Lighten the load of things needing your attention
In fact, just prioritize, so unnecessary things get tossed
For it will make your life simplier and easier to have less
You know that LESS IS MORE....SIMPLIFY, do it today

  1. Very true!!! Most of the stuffs are complicating because we complicate it.

  2. I agree, Lin. Since making a couple of moves to smaller places, I've found there are many things I don't need. I like drawers that have extra room in them and open counter space. Clutter is more stressful.

    Nice post.

  3. Well, we're OK since we have to clean up everything for the New Year at our house. It is a good tradition for us, especially since my mom insists on it.

  4. Lin, you must've read my mind! After the big clean-up around here just before New Year's I seem to have lost the interest in further cleaning. But after this post, I am off to clean!

  5. That's what I've been doing, too. I donated some things, threw away some things, and rearranged some things to simplify my stuff during the break. It sure feels good.

  6. I'm an acrostic addict, so I liked this very much.

  9. You are right, Lin. To keep it simple is to live well. I see it in my classrooms, too. When they're tidy and orderly, the kids do well. In the pig sties, they are unruly.

  10. Well, I do have a lot of stuff, but it all has a place. If I run out of places, I know it's time to get rid of something. I don't like clutter.
And by the way, good job on this acrostic. You made every word count. Economy in writing.

  11. So true! I find when I try to put things away to keep it simply, I can't always find it! SO there is a fine line.
