Sunday Afternoon Drive

We heard about all the waterfalls at the nearby Gunlock Reservoir because of all the recent rain and snow in the mountains. This reservoir is filled and overflowing on the spillway making waterfalls on the rocks going down to the riverbed. Quite spectacular and many going to visit it before it's over with.
Driving past Ivins with Pine Valley Mountains topped with snow
Walterfalls in the distance from down below
Lots of families out hiking on a beautiful day
This is as close as we got with a telephoto lens

  2. Wow. That's a lot of cars and people. I'm guessing the waterfalls are a special event that doesn't last long.
