Spring Shopping

It was 64 degrees today so Caryn and I started our play day at Star Nursery looking at plants and cacti then later looking for outdoor pottery plus a few thrift stores and a yummy lunch made for a fun though exhausting day...

Time to plant pansy and other early blooming plants
Lots of succulents to choose from in this area.

Caryn trying to choose some different colors and shapes for a pot.
Looking new and youthful but prickly.
Love the subtle colors and shapes.
we each bought a critter for our back yard-the goose is mine.
Next we visited this fun outdoor shop with stuff for home & yard
Every color pot you can think of is available here but pricey.
Love the red rock scenery in the background
Even purple pots and every other color you could ever want
Almost bought one of these owl figurines but instead...
This tractor wanted to be added to my kitchen shelf decor
Then we were shown these broken pottery shards that were free.
Exploring downtown St. George, we discover this fun old sign

  1. I can't imagine being able to think seriously of gardening in mid-February. We're still thinking ahead to the next snowstorm, and we will be for awhile.

  4. The cacti should do well at your house. It looks like you both had a fabulous time!
