An autumn drive

Itching to see some autumn leaves isn't easy when you live in the desert where there are few trees, but I got hubby to drive me up to nearby Kolob Reservoir where there were a few aspen trees and fewer maples. I remember one fall our trip to Maine was unbelievable!1

Lin, I think you got some lovely shots. We don't see the change in color much until November, and this year with the drought the leaves may just fall off.

Looks like the aspen show will soon be over. They go so quickly from golden to gone. Good timing on your part.

The REAL saga of fall leaves. They call to me something like as follows: "Come take my picture.... No, not quite yet... not yet... almost, but not quite yet... okay, Take i.. Oops! Too late"

I'd say "lol", but frankly, I don't think it's funny. The leaves came and went over night this year.
