Birthday DAY TRIP

Last Sat, my hubby drove me all over our area of Southern Utah, an 11 hour day trip. Here's where we went first KOLOB CANYON-part of Zion Natl. Park.

Welcome to Kolob Canyons, part of Zion National Park, 35 miles north of us.
Rugged beauty with lots of hiking trails everywhere.
Amazing the power of nature in carving these rocks and formations
A hidden valley captures pine trees and has a waterfall when it rains
Canyons everywhere carved by water, and wind.

Some lost tourists took the wrong turn, looking for a way out...
Rocky Mountain BlueJay enjoys the view also
Quite a view at the end of the five mile drive to the top of the canyon.
These tall fingers show up for miles around, so majestic!
