RAIN AGAIN!

You don't realize how much you miss rain until you live in the desert. A day or two of rain is a treat, refreshing, soothing, healing. Although the opposite can be true, days without sunshine can be dreary and depressing for me. That's why I love living in the desert... What does RAIN represent to you. To me: it's soothing, growth producing, nourishment for my soil and soul!

I like rain, but I don't like several gloomy, rainy days in a row. Snow is a different matter....

We haven't had a lot of rain lately even though it's the rainy season. I hope we can get some for our rain barrel soon.

Rain is pretty normal for us, but we are way behind in our rainfall totals this winter. This does not bode well for our dry season July through mid September. Our mountain snow pack is extremely low and that is our summer water supply. We have been loving the sunny, mild winter, but we know it could mean a hot, dry, brown summer, with high fire danger.
