Ducks Artist's Date

Continuing with our tradition of taking Fridays for our weekly Artist's Date, Caryn and I visited the Tonaquint Bird Preserve on the Santa Clara River. It was 48 degrees heading to a high of 59 degrees today, so a light coat felt good. No snow or wind just lots of ducks quacking, swimming around and looking for a handout. I took several photos then made a collage on www.picnik.com a free photo editing website that is easy and fun to use.

Caryn points out a primitive amphitheater for poetry readings that could be about wildlife or nature. It would work this time of year. During the summer it is too hot, although it's next to the Santa Clara River. After our outdoor adventures, we went shopping and to our favorite Olive Garden for soup and salad.
