Slow Down Time

Going too fast again.
Take time to smell the roses
What? Where? I didn't see them.

Every feel like that?
Making dumb mistakes
when you know better because
you are hurrying along.
Trying to do too much, too fast.

Breathe in and out. Slow down.
Life isn't a race with the fastest
runner taking the prize!

Lin;

I love to come here and decompress.
I've been running around way to much, time to just breathe, in and out,in and out!

I actually need to pick up my pace a bit, but you're right, life isn't a race, it's a journey.

I'm taking things pretty easy right now since I completed my mother's family history project. I'll have to start on Art's now.

I always feel like I am going 100 miles an hour from the moment I get up at 5am....but around 2pm I lay down on my recliner until 5pm. Its my resting time....then I feel great again.

So true! I like doing a lot, but I try to pace myself!

this is probaby why you get to teach RS...you have to slow down for at least this area...so you can 'hear' and 'feel' what needs to be taught. congrats. Teaching is always my favorite calling...just wish I had it now.

A great reminder, Lin!

Loved the line "What? Where? I didn't see them."

I get really stressed if I try to take on too much so I constantly have to remind myself to slow down... nothing is that important that it can't take a little longer to get done...
