Priorities and Goals

Somehow turning 70 this past week
impressed upon me the importance
of focusing on myself and my health.
Therefore I'm going to exercise more.

Have signed up for a body profile class
to analyze my body fat, metabolism, etc.
I've got more than enough for everyone.
Going to get serious about eating better.

I've even signed up for a cooking class
(See photo above of me and teacher.)
to learn how to use herbs better to make
tastier meals. Have lost 30 pounds this
past year but I'm not done yet-still going.
(Photo below of hubby eating chicken creole.)

The best thing I can do for myself is to
prioritize care for my body and health
even though it takes time and energy.
It's the most important thing for me to do.

  5. Sounds like you're doing things right. I was reminded a while back that this is the time I have right now; I'll only get older. We need to do the best with what we have. You seem to understand that too.

The cooking class sounds like lots of fun.

  6. I've always wanted to take a cooking class. I do have an herb garden and usually harvest them for use through the winter. But, there is nothing like cooking with fresh herbs. I keep telling myself that I need to stick with an exercise program, but I should make it more of a priority than it is. I think I will follow your lead and pay more attention to the healthier way to live.

  7. You are SPOT ON... once again.
A cooking class sounds like fun. I REALLY need to clean up my calendar so I can do some of the fun and inspiring things you're doing.

I full well expect to see you in a size 12 by the end of the year.

I hate to think of you having more energy. Your energy level seems to be waaaaaay above par!
