Meeting Family

Surrounded by generations of family, it's fun to watch my hubby meeting cousins (top photo.) We keep finding clues to follow on where to get more information especially as we've talked with Uncle Bill above age 81 with his wife Neta. Bill remembers lots of fun stories and tidbits. Should be interesting to see what we can gather from all the distant cousins with their collections-just located a family bible in Eastern Texas so we'll head that way on Wednesday. I love doing genealogy, it's like a family jigsaw puzzle with different pieces to put together.

It's SPRING in TEXAS and we found a field of bluebonnets in Uncle Bill's yard as well as magnolias, lilacs, and Texas laurel. It's beautiful but humid with lots of rain and 80 degrees!
