More Hugs Needed

More hugs are needed in the world.
genuine comforting squeezes that
say: I care about you and I'm here
to listen, to try to understand and
comfort you.
Don't solve my problem,
just hug me, and I'll resolve my cares
.

Hugs are so great between loved ones
or close friends. Nothing compares.
So give a hug today to those you know
that could use one. I love to say to my
hubby: I need a hug! It always seems
that he needs one too at the same time.

  2. I love to hug my husband and be hugged by him. Our dog, however, is jealous every time she sees us hug and tries to wedge herself in between us!

  3. Wouldn't it be the best if a simple hug could make everything o.k.? And for me it usually does!
But the power of a hug is simply amazing and such an easy and free thing to give!

  4. Although hugging is natural to my husband and me it's not exactly natural in the older Japanese culture. I would never think to hug my mother, I'm afraid. Sometimes, I'd like to but it would make her uncomfortable. It's just not part of that culture. It was funny that I could hug one of my cousins in Japan but ONLY because she'd lived in the U.S. for a year.

  6. My daughters and I hug all the time. That's the one thing I miss about not being married. For a long time after my divorce, I just wanted someone to hug me again...well, a man. Hugs are important. Hugs to you!
