Happy Anniversary

Yesterday was our 16th anniversary. I know at this rate I'll have to be over 100 when I get to my 50th wedding anniversary. Oh well,  you know what they say about late bloomers. What do they say? The early bird gets the worm or the late birds get the leftovers? LOL!

I've been married before and can say with all honesty that my husband was worth waiting for as we both learned from previous relationships that ended in divorce. INTEGRITY and RESPONSIBILITY are two qualities that only becomes apparent over time and my hubby has them both. How great to have a husband I can trust who is responsible and caring. Happy Anniversary to us and many many more, an eternity of them...right now my hubby is recuperating from skin cancer surgery so we'll celebrate next week when he's feeling better.

  4. I just checked online - there is no traditional gift for the 16th anniversary!!! You're just going to have to take lots of vitamins and live til your 50th for the 'good' stuff, LOL!! But then, it sounds like you already have that in each other. Congratulations!

  5. Happy, Happy....

So, how's our little patient doing? Is he up and making new plans to build a yacht ... restructure the Olympic Archery gaes ... homestead 10 serene acres in the mountains of Montana?

How are you doing? What devilish plans do you have when your man is up to celebrating 16 years? If we were ever to really celebrate our anniversary, I think I'd like to head out to a spa and spoil the both of us rotten with massages and hot whirlpools and decadent fruit sorbets. sigh... I'm sure we'll spend the day mowing and weeding at the Hollow. Omigosh!! I think the romance is dead!

Anyway... back to the important matters. Happy Anniversary and I hope Wayne and I get to take the two of you out for a sunset horseback ride on the beaches of Figi for your 35th. Let me think, I'll be 86 by that time. Yeah! We should be able to handle that, don't you think?
