Surprise!

Well, the long awaited and carefully planned day for a month or more finally arrived yesterday. All my husband's daughters arrived on the scene for a SURPRISE pre-birthday party for him. He turns the big 65 this month. I saw that particular birthday years ago but being older and wiser thought I'd ease him through it with a diversion by arranging for his daughters from out of state to fly into Las Vegas then drive up to our door in a rental car and knock. Surprise! Later his oldest daughter drove in from central Utah with her hubby. The other hubbies are home watching the kiddies-thanks guys. It will be a sister's reunion too as the four daughters each live in a different state-Utah, New Mexico, California and Seattle, Washington. It's makes it a real challenge to ever get together except for special occasions. (Photo below the surprised dad with daughters l-r Sarah, Katherine, Alicia and Deborah.)
