Caryn's here...

Finally my friend Caryn came for her first winter visit to my desert home. Haven't seen her since last fall although we communicate almost daily via emails or blogging. She's one of my closest friends, the type that you feel you've known forever. I have several of those.

We were able to visit our mutual friend Mary and have a fun morning discussing the meaning of the universe in our particular lives. Don't you just love friends like that? We talked for hours and the time just flew by. Then we went to a nearby grill and enjoyed a free lunch via a $25 coupon I just received in the mail from a former student who enjoyed my free 12 week class "Writing your life story" and wanted to thank me. Fun day...

  6. Yup!!! It was LOTS of fun!. I just wish I'd taken a picture of you sitting on the bench by the ponds. It was a precious moment shared with you as you talked about the birthday visit with Allen's girls and the good times ahead with Frank and his family.
Not to mention that meals were mighty tasty and the accomadations exceptional.

I also loved, loved, loved our conversation about affirmations. Great food for thought.

  10. Knowing what I do about the two of you from your blogs, I can just imagine the articulate, high intellectual level of your discussion. My brain is jealous.
