I did it!

Made some major accomplishments in researching my husband's genealogy-thanks to www.ancestry.com and in writing his life story...slow and steady gets it done. Also have kept my new year's resolutions about prayer and scriptures daily-now it's part of my daily routinue, tied to time helps. Still working on ACT instead of REACT-think that's a major life time challenge. But making some progress on weight issues and diet for diabetes. Got a new book which is marvelous...full of new ideas by Julia Cameron author of Artist's Way. This book is called...The Writing Diet: Write Yourself Right-Size. Will tell you more in another post. Here's a photo of me above reading with a little napping thrown in about midafternoon.

  1. I love this picture of you, Lin. I may have Cordell help me make a hard copy of it.

You GO, girl! Way to get things accomplished. Julia Cameron does have a way of getting you up and running. Interesting... she's not all that innovative as I remember. But, somehow she gave me a kick in the right direction. Or maybe it was Mary's seminar and all of the ladies comments. Or, quite possibly the accountability I felt in the classes. Ahhh, yes. Accountability will do it every time. And when coupled with meeting once a week with like minded people who are bordering on brilliant... well, who could fail? I miss those days. I wish I could be there to attend her new series of classes with you.

  11. I like this picture too! You look rested and happy. I need that book! This hard winter has put some fat on my bones and I'm ready to lose it.

I'm taking this week off to get some things done. Trying to stay on track but my boss keeps calling me because there's a lot of work to get done. Looks like I'll have to share some me time and company time instead.

Have a great day Lin, God Bless.
